NGDM has a range of stunning new shorts available for license, all produced in glorious HD.

Falling into four broad categories - MACRO LENS, SPECTRUM, AFRICAN WILDLIFE and LANDSCAPES – the shorts showcase some of the best content available from the natural world.

Backed by beautiful, yet neutral soundtracks, these shorts are available for all media/platforms and can act as mini-programmes, background/boarding films or fillers/interstitials – and they are also perfect to showcase the benefits of HD TV screens and other new technologies.

MACRO LENS features amazing close-ups from nature and time-lapse photography- demonstrating everything from seeds growing into flowers, caterpillars transforming into butterflies and water crystallizing into ice.  

SPECTRUM looks at some of the dramatic and rich colours in nature. Autumn leaves and molten lava bring red to life; the Northern Lights and lizards demonstrate green; sunrise and cornfields for yellow, sky and sea for blue and snow covered landscapes and polar bears for white.

AFRICAN WILDLIFE takes us on a journey to this magical continent to see, amongst other things, running giraffes, bathing hippos, wildebeests on the plains and troops of primates – all set against spectacular African landscapes.

LANDSCAPES travels across mountain ranges to the coast, via forests, waterfalls and some of the wildlife along the way.  Awesome footage of the Grand Canyon is also included.
