4Real : Haiti

Brief Summary

In 4REAL Haiti, host Sol Guy takes Flea of the legendary rock group the Red Hot Chili Peppers to meet Camseuze Moise - an agent for the Haitian Health Foundation who conducts outreach work with rural villagers. The morning Sol and Flea arrive, Camseuze is tending to a very sick baby. The baby is in danger of dying and when the mother says she cannot afford to go to the hospital, Sol, Flea and Camseuze help her with a ride and some money. Sol and Flea then mount horses to help Camseuze make her rounds to the neighboring homes, stopping at the homes of a new mother and an old woman whom locals say is 115 years old. The next day, Sol and Flea attend a community fair in Camseuze's village. For the event, Camseuze coordinates approximately 200 volunteers to help her with health education using music to help inform the crowd. Flea shares in the musical exchange, impressing the attendees with his skilled trumpet and bass playing. Influenced by Camseuze's dedication to helping her community, Flea leaves Haiti with a new perspective.
